How To Improve Ballet Posture Without Lessons

Ballet is a great form of dance. It is extremely graceful and beautiful. If you are enjoy ballet and are looking to improve your ballet posture but do not have the time to devote to lessons, there is a way.

In order to ensure that you have good posture, you will need to ensure that you practice. Being prepared to spend the time perfecting your posture is the first step. You will then want to follow the steps below for a good stance with the correct posture.

1. Stand in the first position of ballet with your feet pointing outwards, your heels touching, and your knees and legs straight.

2. Slightly suck in your stomach. This helps with straightening your back.

3. Make sure your back is straight and tighten the muscles in your butt.

4. Tighten the muscles of your legs.

5. Make your shoulders wide by holding them back and slightly down.

6. Put your arms to your sides, but slightly in front of the rest of your body. Have your elbows bent slightly and your hands loose.

7. Straighten your neck and hold your chin up slightly.

8. Then just relax.
